Matthew Aqeel earned his degree from Fordham University  and went on to Boston College Law School, where he was named a Wilmer-Hale Scholar and was nominated and accepted as a Judge McMahon Fellowship from the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Southern District of New York.

Before opening his own office, Matthew worked at regional landlord-tenant law firms. From the owner of a single unit to management companies with hundreds of doors, landlords count on him for legal results without the runaround.

Anthony La Grassa serves as Of Counsel to The Law Office of Matthew Aqeel, Esq., P.L.L.C., where he focuses primarily on real estate transactions throughout New York. 

With extensive experience handling thousands of closings, Anthony represents a wide range of clients—from first-time homebuyers to seasoned real estate investors and wholesalers. His depth of knowledge and practical approach help ensure smooth, efficient transactions for every client.

Noelia Arias is the Senior Paralegal at The Law Office of Matthew Aqeel, Esq., P.L.L.C., where she oversees the day-to-day operations of the firm. With over 30 years of experience in the legal field, Noelia has worked with some of the top law firms across New York, bringing a wealth of knowledge, professionalism, and dedication to every case the firm handles. Her expertise is a cornerstone of the firm’s efficiency and client service.

Jillian Rasulo is an experienced title closer with The Law Office of Matthew Aqeel, Esq., P.L.L.C., bringing nearly a decade of expertise throughout Westchester County and New York City. She ensures each closing proceeds seamlessly, and when issues arise, she resolves them swiftly and efficiently to keep the transaction on track.

Essence Latifah Todman is a first-year JD/MPA student at Pace University’s Elisabeth Haub School of Law and Dyson School of Arts and Sciences. She is an active member of the Black Law Students Association and the Family Law Society. Prior to law school, she earned her MBA from Metropolitan College of New York and worked with Westchester County Child Protective Services. She also founded the Duane X Arts Foundation, a nonprofit supporting artists through scholarships and community programs, and brings to the firm a strong foundation in advocacy, research, and client-focused service.
